Cory Calendine, MD is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in minimally-invasive anterior hip replacement, partial and total knee replacement, arthroscopy and robotic-assisted joint surgery. As a founding partner of the Bone and Joint Institute of Tennessee, Dr. Calendine serves patients throughout the Nashville region as Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery for Williamson Medical Center. Dr. Calendine is dedicated to orthopedic education and enjoys lecturing nationally and internationally on the latest joint replacement techniques and advancements.
Dr. Calendine received his medical degree from the University of Tennessee and completed orthopaedic surgery residency at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. He completed fellowship training in hip and knee reconstruction at the world-renowned Anderson Orthopaedic Research Institute in Alexandria, VA. Dr. Calendine is a member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and serves as Elite Reviewer for the Journal of Arthroplasty. As a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (FAAOS), Dr. Calendine is recognized as a musculoskeletal health team leader with the highest level of skills, training, experience and professionalism with a commitment to quality, professional development, and continuous education. Dr. Calendine combines his expertise in joint replacement and full-spectrum arthritis treatment with personal and compassionate care that has earned “Top Doctor” honors from patients and physician peers.
