Dr. Cory Calendine is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, founding partner of the Bone and Joint Institute of Tennessee, and Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery at Williamson Medical Center in Franklin, Tennessee. He performs approximately 700 hip & knee replacements per year, serves as a Stryker consultant on the Mako® robotic-assisted surgical platform, and is an Elite Reviewer for the Journal of Arthroplasty. Dr. Calendine accepts a limited number of speaking and teaching engagements each year, with priority given to peer surgeon education, fellowship and residency programs, and conference sessions where audiences benefit from operative video, case-based teaching, and outcomes data drawn from a high-volume single-surgeon practice. Presentations are tailored to the audience and can be delivered in-person or via secure videoconference.
Format options include keynote addresses, panel participation, breakout course faculty, surgical video sessions, grand rounds, fellowship-level teaching, podcast or webinar interviews, and CME-eligible content development. Advisory & Consultancy Work
Dr. Calendine maintains a long-standing advisory relationship with Stryker, contributing to the ongoing development of the Mako® robotic-arm assisted surgical platform and to the design of hip and knee implants used by the system. He has additional experience advising on surgical workflow, intra-operative imaging, instrumentation design, and clinical training curricula.
